Taxcafe.co.uk celebrates its 5th birthday this month! The website was founded in 1999 by myself and Dr Aileen Smith, with the aim of publishing affordable plain English tax information for investors and business owners and also IFAs and accountants.
From humble beginnings Taxcafe has grown to become one of the most popular tax websites in Britain. Our tax guides have been shipped to 71 countries including China, Columbia, the Falkland Islands, Romania, Swaziland and Uzbekistan. And almost 2,000 people have used our popular tax Question & Answer service.
I would like to thank all those who have helped us make the website what it is today, including our fantastic staff, our authors and tax experts, our advisers at Scottish Enterprise and our families for their tremendous encouragement and support.
