UK Pre-Budget Report
UK Pre-Budget Report
The UK Pre-Budget Report is announced by the Chancellor, normally in November or December each year. The aim of the UK Pre-Budget Report (PBR) is to reflect the current state of the economy, to the House of Commons and to the general public.
The UK Pre-Budget Report also gives a comprehensive overview of public finances.
Once this has been covered, it is then decided which direction must be taken so that the major Budget announcement which follows is successful.
The results of the UK Pre-Budget Report, as with the Spring Budget announcement, can strongly affect your personal finances. By making sure you take the necessary steps you can ensure you're not caught out when the government rules change. One important area which you should be paying attention to in the UK Pre-Budget Report is taxation.
Taxcafe's tax advice guides are there to keep you completely up to date with all the tax changes which may affect you. Updated after each main Budget announcement, the guides will also let you know which steps to take, and what information you should be looking for in the UK Pre-Budget Report.
